Hi,

I´m trying to learn Power Automate and hope you can help me. I have errors in my flow.

1. Invalid connection to Jira. How to get an API token?

2. How to use condition for the following?

  • If issue project name equals BOTS
  • If issue type equals Service Request
  • If Customer Request Type equals xxx

3. If conditions are True I want to add a user to an O365 group. User input should be retrieved from a field in Jira. How to add?

    Hello,

    I have seen you respond on a few post regarding Power Automate and Jira. I am trying to create a flow that will create Jira issue when form submitted. I have watched a few videos but it seems my options are different or the system is requiring a code. None of my info is automatically pulling up even though I did the API connection AND it will not accept anything for 'Issue Type."

    Hi @Shelah,

    1. You can find how to get a token in the Jira Connector documentation:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/jira/#known-issues-and-limitations

    For authentication, you need to use an API token. To get a token, you go to https://id.atlassian.com/manage/api-tokens

    2 & 3. In your condition you don't have to check for a project name, you are already selecting that in the trigger/first action of your flow. You can add your fields by either dynamic content or via expressions. For example below would be a reference to a custom field.

    You can use that same approach for question number.

    triggerOutputs()?['body/fields/customfield_10010/requestType/name']
