Hi,

I want to trigger a flow when I have created a report file and the completed the report.

How to i do that - in other way how to tell Powerautomate to run a trigger to run a flow ONLY when I want so that it sends the file to my manager for approval.

    @subodhsapkota ,

    You can set the trigger on the "When a file is created" event of a SharePoint document library.

    I don't know how you are creating the report. Copy the report to the SP library (automated or manually), which will trigger your flow.

    Thanks Sudeep for the info.

    The issue I am having is I create the file in sharepoint first (say on 10 Nov) and it takes me till say  15 Nov to finish the report. Then I want to trigger the workflow. If I use the option to trigger through sharepoint when file is created, the workflow will send for approval to my manager while the report is NOT completed. So, I only want to trigger it when I have completed working on the file NOT WHEN THE FILE IS CREATED.

    If I may ask, can you not add the report to the library after it is ready to be consumed?

    @subodhsapkota What happens to the file after your manager approves or rejects it?
