Hi All,

I got a question here, my flow need to open a website, in the website there will be consist of multiple download link with the word "download". Once user
click the "download" it would bring up the save file prompt. I tried multiple method but still failed to get PAD to loop each download and download the file required.

Any advises?

Thanks

    Hi,

One way is to find out the total number of download options available in the webpage using extract data from webpage action. I assume that selector of each download link will have a kind of integer number which denotes the position of each download button. So next using a loop and a click action - you can make the flow to click the link and download the file to destined folder.

    Thanks & Regards,

Extract data from webpage only can capture the text of download, I set it to detect all the download text, but when I set within the loop to click on the "download" element, PAD will only recognise that particular element and repeated clicked on that.

    Hi,

Can you show the selector of one download element- just see whether there is any attribute like rowindex or a integer which represent the position of download button.

Sure, this is what i captured using click link on web browser.

    dew-tab[Id="'enclosure'"] > dew-section > div > dew-section-body > zsn-attachment > div > dew-row > dew-col > div > div > div > span > span[Text="Download"]

Check if there is something like "Ordinal" in the elements attributes. If there is then you can just use the Ordinal to select correct download link.

So have variable that you increase every time after you have downloaded one file. Keep in mind that there is still a bug in PAD that does not allow you to insert variables in Ordinal type of attributes. So you need to change to Text editor and insert the variable there so inside: eq()

If the element does not have attributes then does it have the download links as @Nived_Nambiar suggested? So in my example element there is the Href that I could also identify different download links:

Unfortunately the selector doesn't contain any Href or any Ordinal exist.

    This is the default:
    dew-tab[Id="'enclosure'"] > dew-section > div > dew-section-body > zsn-attachment > div > dew-row > dew-col > div > div > div > span > span[Text="Download"]
