I have a model driven app with custom entities (tables). When A user uses a link to the app they can see the view but not the app navigation (left pane), there is a warning:
"For the best experience viewing this content, open it in a specific application".
The user roles assigned here are:
Basic User
App Opener
A custom role to grant access to the custom entitites
When I give the user the role "Enviroment Maker" (using the same link) they can see the navigation pane.
Looking through the security role "Enviroment Maker" I tried adding ones that made some sense to my custom security, but this didn't work.
looking to have users see an app without being able to be makers in my production enviroment.
Looks like you are missing some configurations for you users,
1. Assign a business unit/team/role to your users
2. Be sure your app is shared to those roles, looks like you provide access to the tables but not the app itself thats why you can see tables view but no navigation panel. you can find more information in this article
