Unable to sign into Power Platform portal

Hello,

When attempting to sign into the Power Platform portal, I am greeted with a purple loading circle. However, this circle never goes away and I do not make it to the Portal.

Please let me know if you require more information.

Thanks 🙂

    Hi @cloudcat6502

    Unfortunately, I'm not sure what else to suggest as we've exhausted all of the obvious options. I would recommend that you raise a support ticket by clicking the 'Create support ticket' button on the following page.

    Hopefully, Microsoft can trace what's happening and identify what is causing you to not be able to login.

    @timl,

    I use FireFox primarily so my Chromium install is completely stock. I didn't notice the option to switch off third party cookies and so I tried again with that. Since I am on my desktop I end up at the loading circle again. It seems the sign in error is specific to my phone

    Hi @cloudcat6502

    That's an interesting question about not having an appropriate licence.

    In my test tenant, I created a user without an E5 and Power Apps license. I was able to authenticate without seeing the same error that you're seeing.
    When you tested using Chromium in incognito mode, were all extensions disabled and did you switch off the option to block third-party cookies?

    @timl

    I apologize for not thinking about this sooner. But would not having an appropriate license cause this problem? I'm just starting to use my M365 tenant for learning and don't have a license setup for my user. I was following an article from Microsoft and was directed to showing all the admin centers in the M365 portal. Power Platform does not seem to be there.

    I work from home so I tried signing in through mobile data on my iPhone. Safari and Firefox show a sign-in error rather than just a spinning circle. However I do not know if this is because they are mobile browsers. Just to be safe I tried requesting the desktop site in Firefox as well but was met with the same error.

    The error code is AADSTS50058, I tried clearing cache and an a private tab in firefox on my iPhone but received the same error.

    Hi @cloudcat6502

    Are you able to try a different network to see if that makes a difference? For example, if you're trying to sign in from work, if you try signing in at home instead, does that make a difference?

    Hey @timl,

    I gave private browsing in Firefox a try as well as using Chromium in Incognito mode. Neither seem to be working. Still stuck as the loading circle unfortunately.

    Hi @cloudcat6502

    The first thing I would try is to clear your browsing history and cookies, and to try again.
    Alternatively, you could try the 'in private' or incognito modes of your browser, or you could try using a different browser to see if that works. If you're using incognito in Chrome, it's also important to choose the option to enable third party cookies.
