How to remove connection references from the flow

I have added a certain amount of flows to the solution together with the power apps application and then, imported to the new environment. The problem is that I could not add the common flows which have only connections from the power apps's "Add Flow", that is I could only add the flow with connection reference. Secondly, I could not use the new designer for the flows with connection reference.

Thus,

Firstly, I would like to remove the connection references from the flow and replaced with connections.

Secondly, I would like to enable adding flows with connections only ( not the ones with connection references).

Could you please suggest how should I solve this problem?

Thanks.

    Hi @Thinzar ,

by common flows, you mean flows that are still triggered by Power App v2 but are in different solutions. If so you just need to add those flows to the solution (it is still in the origional solution, just referenced in both). Anmy connection refs will create dependencies but that will be ok as long as they are already in the target environment.

Creating connections within a flow automatically creates connection references now, so I dont think its possible to use legacy conenctions (you could try buidling flow outside and then adding but I suspect it might still create connection references).

    Thanks, @wyattdave .

I would like to clarify that there is no way to reverse that connection reference?

Even if we create a new flow in new app, there could be connection reference every time we try to add connection?

If so, what would be the downsides of the connection references in future?

If the flow is in a solution then yes there will be a connection reference. There is no negatives to a connection reference except the possibility of a missing dependency issue (which cna be averted as long as the connection reference is in the solution).
A connection reference is kind of like a variable. Without it you would need to update each individual connection everytime you deployed to a new environment, but a conenction reference means you just update just the one connection.
