Help deciding how to sign up... 365, win 10 pro, free paid?

Hi-

New here.

I've been looking online but still confused on whats the best way to sign up for power automate.

It's just me using it. (haven't started yet)

Looks like there are many options.

Free or paid.

But what do I get if i pay for office 365 or if i upgrade to win 10 pro. I believe i would get access then.

But i could pay 15 a month for power automate subscription.

Not sure of the differences.

Then theres online or desktop

Or how to get free access and if that would be enough for what I'm trying to accomplish.

I want to automate (manually triggered)

Grab an IP address and port number from a spreadsheet (don't care whichever is easier excel one drive google libre office 365???)

open internet options from settings chose proxy turn on enter ip and port save.

then open browser email client [yahoo outlook gmail etc]

open unopened email send reply.

close email app and browser (not sure if I should clear the cache in browser in this step)

then go to the next row in the sheet get the new ip port email client login info

change the ip in network settings

open email client and repeat.

From following tutorials It looks like there are UI automations that may do this.

I'm not sure if i need web automations because i heard you can't do both.

And i'm not sure if this is doable in the free version.

I have no problem paying to upgrade or subscribe.

Just don't want to chose one then go through all the work to find out it won't work.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I know this is a long post.

Thanks in advance for any help or direction on where to find the answers to my many questions.

Tony

@rudes hi, please create a trial tenant on below url and you will have access to all O365 services including Power Automate.

    https://signup.microsoft.com/Signup?Dap=False&QuoteId=79a957e9-ad59-4d82-b787-a46955934171&ali=1

If this expires, you can sign up for Microsoft 365 developer program which also gives trail tenant but it keeps extending every 3 month until it is used for dev/test purpose.

    @rudes ,

This seems that you need only PowerAutomate desktop. Please download and install this.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/desktop-flows/install

You can find here the prerequisite:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/desktop-flows/setup

There is no additional costs at this time, but it is a lot of study ahead to learn using this great tool.

    Hope it helps !
