Approval Default Values on Timeout

Greetings!

I am new to power automate and flows and have been watching videos on creating approval workflows. I want to create a simple approval workflow to collect responses for a set time (say, 10 days). Let's say this is for voting and we have 3 options, 'Yes', 'No', and 'Abstain'. If everyone responds right away, that's great! If they don't respond in 10 days, I want everyone who hasn't responded to be set to 'Abstain' (or something else if need be, but 'Abstain' would be fine).

Bonus points! I'm triggering the approvals from a list... It would be great to see who has and has not already responded during the 10 days so that we can encourage them to respond. The voting is not secret in any way shape or form by the way.

I have only gotten as far as actually creating the flow which works great if everyone responds thanks to Reza Dorrani's videos. Here's the high level of what my flow currently looks like this; very basic, I'm sure you can imagine the contents of the items but let me know if we need to look at anything specifically.

Re: Approval Default Values on Timeout

Just checking in to see if there were replies... In case someone else out there experiences this... The way I solved it was to create two flows with two lists (actually 3 lists - I have a list of active approvers). The first list is of all of the items to be voted on. When a new item is added to the list, it looks at the active approvers and automatically creates an item in the second list called 'votes' - there is then one list record per approver and each of those records being created kicks off the second workflow which creates an individual approval. When there is only one approver, it's then possible to track individual responses in the list. When the workflows complete for each voter, the flow checks to see if the original item being voted on is still in an open status. It closes once all of the individual votes have been received. So, that's how I solved this, with two flows and two or three lists.
