I have a custom screen and want to use my Datacardvalue from my edit screen for attachments. I created a Label and Text Input box.

    Hi @kevinHolston ,

    Unless the attachment control is on a Form, there is a lot more to do to actually attach the files and even harder to view existing attachments. I strongly suggest you use a Form for the attachments.

    @kevinHolston

    This seems like a follow-on to this post that I never heard back from you on.

    You will need a form to submit attachments.

    If you are following the video that I mentioned to separate the form interface from the form, then you can do this easily.  But you're going to need to follow closely how I discuss the setup to do it in that video.

    @kevinHolston ,

    I will leave you with @RandyHayes here as I did not realise you had simply posted a new thread without referring to the old one (please do not do this as it just makes everyone start again). I gave you the same advice - unless you want a complex process (which you really need to understand to get going), use a Form as it does it all for you.

    @WarrenBelz  Extra input is always welcome 😁

    @kevinHolston I was looking over the SF182 form you are working with and it is very similar (the process) to what I demonstrate in that video.  The trouble with paper forms converted to computer is that many paper forms allow for a person to fill them out wrong and not follow details, plus they make assumptions (like the "Furnish Invoice to")  When you try to make that a computer form, you have to introduce other means to make sure things happen (like the furnishing of invoices).  So, point is, it's not always a one-to-one conversion.
