Model Driven app Lookup sometimes displays no records

Hi all,

I'm working in a Model Driven app with custom tables in Dataverse and a weird situation came up.

My lookup fields sometimes work fine but mostly (almost random) it shows no records to search for, the same when I go to Advanced lookup.

But if I do enter a searchable value, it shows the records, there is data, backspace the value and the list is empty again.
This behavior is for all the lookups in the form, not just this one and all are searchable.

How can I configurate these lookups to behave normal, to show all the available records by default?

Works fine:
Here it works perfect if i press enter or click on the magnifying glass

Nothing to show:
This time it shows no records, the same in Advanced lookup

But the search still works:
BUT i do get records when i enter a searchable value

exact issue I am having as well - happens on the New Look and with new look turned off

Erwin - I just found out the issue and pointed it out to MSFt on a call. If you do a network log in dev tools - when clicking the search button icon - it appends the name field in the fetchxml of the FETCHxml call on lookupviews - for some strange reason.

Example - /api/data/v9.0/kumo_idainstruments?fetchXml=<fetch version="1.0" mapping="logical" savedqueryid="34ed4bd5-3985-4730-86fa-c2f717730ca6" returntotalrecordcount="true" page="1" count="25" no-lock="false"><entity name="kumo_idainstrument"><attribute name="statecode"/><attribute name="kumo_idainstrumentid"/><attribute name="kumo_name"/><filter type="and"><condition attribute="statecode" operator="eq" value="0"/></filter><order attribute="kumo_name" descending="false"/><filter type="or" isquickfindfields="1"><condition attribute="kumo_name" operator="like" value="{0%"/></filter></entity></fetch>

The bold is in no way in the filter on the lookup query at all. if you paste this url in your browser after your crm domain - you will get the results of nothing... if you remove the bold part - you get what you ae looking for.

My temp solution is I told the lookup fields to look at all active records view instead of the lookup view
