Best way to deal with checkboxes inside image

We have the following image which contain check-boxes and we are going to OCR it using the form processing activity

now i am planning to create these Yes/No fields inside SharePoint document library:-

- Private

- Luxury

- Body-left

- Body-Right

- Truck

but how i can force the OCR to map the fields to Yes in-case its checkbox has the right mark inside it? and if the checkbox is empty to map it as No..

Second question, i have the following data inside an image:-

where inside SharePoint i am going to create a drop-down field with these options (2,3,4,8, >8) but how i can force the OCR to select the related option based if the related checkbox is checked?

any advice?

Thank you for the question.

AI Builder Form Processing doesn't currently support extracting checkboxes. But the good news is that this capability will be available later this summer. Form processing support for checkboxes - Power Platform Release Plan | Microsoft Docs

@JoeF-MSFTthanks for the reply.. but we are planning to start the project in 2 weeks.. so is there any workarounds to be able to process check-boxes? and is the any other AI (other than the form processing ) that can extract check-boxes?

second question, when it is expected to have the check-boxes available? you mentioned this summer,, around which month?

Hi @johnjohn123, the checkbox extraction capability will be available in AI Builder Form Processing towards the end of the summer (end of August-September).

If you need something before that, and have coding skills you can look into Azure Form Recognizer which is what we use under the hood in AI Builder, and supports checkbox extraction: Form Recognizer – Automated Data Processing Systems | Microsoft Azure

Yes, but to use the model in a cloud flow you will need to make HTTP requests to the model or build a custom connector. Similar to what is explained in this video: How to Scan Receipts using Azure's Form Recognizer API - YouTube
