Hi,
We all know that Microsoft's Power Virtual Agent (PVA) has impressive generative answer capabilities, which can generate responses based on our data sources, regardless of whether they're internal or external.
Check out the above image, I have added my SharePoint site as an internal data source, and PVA is generating answers proficiently.
However, I am somewhat perplexed by the fact that PVA continues to generate answers from my documents without requiring my Azure OpenAI key. I am aware that Azure OpenAI is utilized in the backend, but how is this possible without explicitly providing my key?
Also, I'd like to inquire about PVA's scalability. Specifically, is it capable of answering queries using data from thousands of documents in sharepoint?
Can it answer only text document or image documents as well?
PVA's built in Generative Answers feature utilizes PVA's own key to integrate with Azure OpenAI, none is required of the customer. If you extend with the Azure OpenAI On Your Data feature to bring your own grounded model to PVA, you'd need your own key for that.
For Sharepoint, PVA depends on the Microsoft Graph API to provide only relevant documents to us based on the user's question; so even if there are thousands, we would get back a search result and utilize the top [n] to generate the answer.
Currently we support only text content; though we have desires to add other media types in the future.
