2I am trying to set the permission on a document set when its created. The document set should have some set groups access which custom roles and some individuals who the creator selects while creating the document set. Each document set created will have unique permission and can be modified by the creator at any point of time.
I was able to break the permission and add the groups. But I am unable to add the individuals. These individuals are not present in the site so they are not there in site users to get the principal id. I tried using the method of granting the access to the folder directly. It does not work. The post method using rest api - https://<site url>/_api/web/siteusers(@v)?@v=’<login name>‘ gives an error of missing or invalid string for login name.
Can some one please help?
