Hi

i have a flow that runs everyday. It pulls a random item from a Sharepoint list and posts the contents into Teams.

I would like to add a time stamp to the item that has been selected at the end of the flow. The idea being I can add a date filter to the initial get item

any help greatly appreciated

You can use the Date function to determine the date you want to pull the data and then format it.. See the example below where I am filtering items, where the modified date is in the last 10 hours... The reason I selected 10 hours is that its UTC time and I added my timezone difference

    Below is my expression

    formatDateTime(body('Subtract_from_time'), 'yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss')

Thank you this is very useful. But I was wanting to find how I can add a timestamp to the Sharepoint list item that was selected, which I will then filter against

    Hello @Bigshow ,

Power Automate has an expression utcNow() that will give you current date/time, you could use that. image.png

But if you update the item then the 'Modified' date will be the same so maybe you could do just a blank update to update the 'Modified' date, e.g. update the Title to Title (no change in the value) and then filter as proposed by @PrasadAthalye
