Hey,

I am currently in the process of copying a site column field from one team to another. Although the code runs successfully, I have encountered an issue where the column is only being used in "wiki pages" within the new team. However, I require the column to be utilized in all types of pages for my ongoing work. To provide a better understanding of the situation, I will include screenshots below:

This is my body from column:

    Hi @LanderDG,

The interface has a add to all content type toggle button for this. In REST API you should be able to set this via one of the Options property:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/office/sharepoint-server/ee542202(v=office.15)?redirectedfrom=MSDN

Below is an example of using that Options field.

Also be aware that some content types or not managed on the site but in the Content Type gallery (especially the out of the box ones). That would also explain why you are not allowed to add the field to that content type.

In those cases you probably want to create a custom content type (which uses the Microsoft one as a parent) or create the site column in the existing content type (which I wouldn't recommend) and publish the changes to all the sites which are using these content types.
