Copilot Studio does not work with .aspx pages

Hello Copilot Studio community,

I have created a Copilot in Studio and integrated the SharePoint.
The problem I have is that our SharePoint pages always end with .aspx. According to Microsoft these are not supported.

The website must not end with a file extension

Does this mean that Copilot cannot access these pages? According to our IT, these are already modern SharePoint pages.

Do we have to set up SharePoint differently, and if so, how?

Hi,

In the modern experience, SharePoint pages are also using ASPX file extension, but this doesn't mean Copilot is not able to index those. Official recommendation may be confusing, but it states that old classic experience content can't be indexed.

Therefore, your copilot should be able to index content created using the modern experience.

SharePoint pages end with .aspx doesn’t prevent them from being accessible by Copilot Studio. Copilot Studio can interact with and extract information from SharePoint pages, regardless of their file extension

Have you tried Specifying the SharePoint Page inside knowledge source without the .aspx extension?
