Compare timestamp in flow condition giving wrong output

Hi guys,

I am building a flow and within the flow, I am comparing 2 timestamps.

Here is the first time stamp (current time).

Below is 2nd timestamp.

One of the step in my flow will compare these two time stamp and check if current time is less than 2nd timestamp. However, this step is returning true instead of false. Since current time is 3pm and 2nd time stamp is 8.30am, shouldn't the condition evaluate to false?

    Hello @Anonymous ,

I'd say both the timestamps should have the same format. In my opinion the condition checks the date '2021-04-06': that's the same, But then it compares ' ' (empty space) vs 'T' and considers empty space is less than T.

When working with dates, it's always better to have all of them in valid ISO format, it saves a lots of potential problems.

    Hi Tom.

Yes. I did a formatdate expression transformation to the current time variable and it seems like the comparison works now.
