Import Solution error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Hi All,

I'm trying to import a solution from one environment to another one. Inside the solution, I have one cloud flow, one desktop flow and couple of connection references. The cloud flow contains a Run desktop flow action.

When importing, I got the below error message

Does anyone how to resolve this issue? Thanks!

Is there a "Download log" link in that error banner? If so, do that then open it in Excel by either dropping the XML file from your downloads folder onto a blank worksheet or going File -> Open in Excel and browsing to it.

You should see far more verbose error messaging in there. Note there's more than one worksheet in the file. It opens on a summary page but the other one has the details.

Yes, I checked that file. Unfortunately, it has the same information with no more details.

Does it not tell you what part of the solution it failed on?

Sorry for the confusion. The error message in the Excel file is exactly the same as the one shown in the image I've attached here.

    Error message:

Error while importing workflow {} type RoboticProcessAutomationFlow name xxxxx: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

I understand. In the excel file, in the details tab, it will show the step of the import process at which the error occurred. It might be right at the start, or the error may have occurred later on while importing a specific item such as a flow or a table.

The error is for a workflow. And I'm sure this is a desktop flow. In the solution package that I'm trying to import, there are couple of desktop flows. Some of them can be imported successfully, but some failed. The issue is they all work properly in the source Power platform environment. What could be the reason that they are not able to be imported to the target environment?
