Hello everyone !

I just created a flow for my sharepoint list when a new item is created, to send an approval e-mail for the Floor Manager, if the floor manager did not answered the email within 1 hour a new approval will be send to the manager if the Manager have approved the mail, it will send a new mail to the General Manager that this type of time have been approved by this manager mail.

I can summarize it in this picture:

I created this flow and i set the timeout for 3m to test it, the problem after receiving the new emails and i click on Approve i got this error message: "The Approval has been reassigned"
Approval Reassigned.PNG

So any idea why i got this error message using manager e-mail ?

This my flow that i created:

Thank you !

As I understand it , you only need to have 1 approval, but it can be escalated two levels.  Am I correct?

    Hello Scott !

No i should have 3 approvals, because if the first approval has exceeded timeout it will jump to the second one and send another approval for the manager, now after the manager approve the email i will send a third approval for the general manager in a proper folder on outlook called "Flow Invoives" different then inbox.

I am getting this error message "The Approval has been reassigned" In scope 2.
I expect that the problem is that I am using another emails outside my organization, but I add all these emails users that are outside my organization and I give them permissions as owners inside my flow. Now when I receive the email and I click on Approve it redirect me to flow but I get 404 error which is: That didn't work This org hasn't given you a plan with access to Microsoft Flow. Please contact the org's admin to get access. So what I am doing wrong ? and one more question how can I access a folder inside my outlook and drop the e-mails their inside my flow ? Thank you!

I am having a little trouble understanding your Flow from the screen shots provided, so I create a Flow that does the following for you to evaluate:

    1) My Flow starts with an approval action with a timeout of 1 hour

    2) After 1 hour, the escalated approval kicks in only if the first approval time out

    3) The second approval takes place when either the forst approval or the escalated approval ran and the outcome was Approve.

Please see my screen shots below - hope this helps.

Hello @ScottShearer  ! First of all thanks for helping me out.

I created a new flow following you step by step,  first i tested before timeout approval works well and update the item status. But the problem now when i receive the second approval email and i click on approve i go back to my list the status column failed to update and my flow fail:

Capture.PNGIt said that "Resource not found" and i am giving the right side address with list, plus i didn't receive any mail for approval 3.
Here is a preview what i modified in the flow:
    Capture 1.PNG

and this is second condition where i receive the error in the update item action:
Capture 2.PNGAfter approval 2 is there an option that i can send items from sharepoint to an outlook folder for a specific email ?

    Thank you !

I just created another flow with same concept but inside 3 scopes, the flow fails on scope 2 after the timeout of the approval 1 i don't receive an email for approval 2 and the scope 2 skipped and then send an email for approval 3 this my error below:
    Flow Error 1.PNG

What i want to achieve is after scope 1 skip the mail approval wait for the timeout and send for approval 2, and if the approval 2 did not answered or answered send the last approval for third scope.

    This is my flow:

    Thank you!
