Initiate Flow from PowerApps

Hi,

I am in a team of 2; I do the flow and my colleague writes the powerapps. We want to be able call the flow from powerapps. Now if the Powerapps creater tries to add the flow, he gets an error. If I do it as flow creator, then this can be added with no issue (it deletes all the code in the on success but we are prepared for that ) .

This surely cant be the way its supposed to work? is there something we should be doing to allow the powerapps dev to be able to add my flow without problems?

Many thanks

James

    Hi @Jambo1,

Do you mean that your colleague can't use the Flow you created?

Maybe you could ask your colleague to share the app he created with you, then you add Flow, and then you share the Flow with your colleagues.

    Please take a try.

In addition, you could also submit your question in PowerApps community, because it also involves the PowerApps, maybe there is a proper workaround about this.

    Best Regards,

    Barry

    Hi @v-bacao-msft

yes this is exactly what I ended up doing but even after sharing the powerapps and flows with both of us, only I could add the flow into the powerapp. I'll raise the issue on the powerapps forum as well

Do you know if this wuold be raised with the Dev team as it is this sort of thing that makes an otherwise good tool quite clunky to use
