Multiple approval emails flooding the inbox

I had created an automated approval flow for a task through Power Automate, which is “Start approval when a new item is added”.

 

The flow was working fine until today were it started sending multiple approval emails, flooding the inbox. As of now we have turned off the flow to stop the emails coming in.

 

Please provide a solution to this issue.

    Hi Mithra,

     

    Please clarify the below questions:

    1. Any changes you made to the flow ?

    2. Any changes made in the folder where new item trigger is happened?

    3. Please check if anyone else created a flow using same trigger location (happened to me many times!!)

    4. Does it trigger same email content? I mean for the same item created?

    5. Check the 28- day flow history to see when and how the flow triggered to get so many emails
