@BertP - yes this will work. The Entity/Table schema name will remain the same across both Environments.

Notes:

You can expect to receive the following notification when attempting to do this the first time:

Your Solution will appear under "Managed", and your Table will no longer appear in the "Custom" section, but can be located under "All":

Sorry about the conflation of terminology in the subject line.

I have an existing unmanaged environment with a Dataverse instance, canvas app & flows.

I would like to turn this into a managed production environment (up till now it has been an unmanaged development/production environment).

I plan to export the existing tables, canvas app & flows in the existing environment as a solution into a new unmanaged environment which will be used for development (Let's call this the DEV environment). Then I plan to delete the canvas apps & flows from the existing environment (keeping the tables) & use the DEV environment to create a managed solution to be imported into the existing environment.

My question is this: Will this simply "work" with my existing dataverse tables? If I keep the objects/metadata in the tables within the imported/exported solutions, will it conflict in any way with my existing dataverse tables when I re-import the solution as a managed solution? thx!
