A possibility to extract comments made in a MS Teams Task into a sharepoint list automatically.

Hello Community,

we are currently trying to get comment information which is filled into microsoft teams tasks into a sharepoint list. (Automated)

Either the full history being updated or a new comment being added to the already existing dataset.

We tried many different approaches and also google led to a brick wall saying there is just no connector/possibility for this.

Has anybody information about how it may work?

Could there be a workaround to extract comments out of automated E-Mails after a comment was made?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi @Anonymous

Currently, I am afraid that Flow does not support directly obtaining the comment of the task.

If you need this feature, user have already made feedback on this issue. Please consider voting for this idea:

Maybe you can take a try to get the comment from the email sent to the group according to the screenshot below.

    Expression:

trim(first(split(outputs('Html_to_text')?['body'],'These comments are about the task')))

When a new a comment is added to a task, the Flow will be triggered and get the comment.

    Hello v-Lily,

I will try it out tomorrow and will get back to you.

    Thanks in advance!

Also i will then have to figure out how to appoint those informations to the right task in the sharepoint list.
