Limit the number of attendees for a outlook meeting

This seems to be a problem many people struggle with.... I have a limited number of seats available for a meeting/class. The invite list exeeds the capacity of the room for the meeting so it is first come first serve for reserving a spot. How can I create a flow to decline members after reaching the max amount of "accepts" for the meeting invite?

If someone is able to solve this you deserve a trophy!

    Hi KatW,

    Per my test, it seems that there is no action can be used to get response from attendees, so I assume that it might be not possible to know how many “accept” has been made from attendees.

    Please consider adding an idea on Flow Ideas Forum about this feature on Flow ideas Forum, I will help collect and report it on my side:

    What Solution? I don't see any solution listed or explained.

    Please indicate and clarify.  Thanks

    This has nothing to do with knowing the number of Accepts, which in my experience,  you can find out using the Tracking information in the calendar.

    The issue is stopping over-subscribing of a meeting when a broad communication is issued for a meeting or event with a limited number of seats.

    This is not possible when using Outlook, so people have to turn to 3rd party solutions like EventBrite.

    @KatW

    I am working on buildinga  flow for this.

    Beginning with Sharepoint List

    • Sharepoint list of invitees
    • Invites sent in small batches
    • Using POWERApps to keep a running total and update to a field on the SP List
    • the running total will stop the automatic sending of batch of invitees, when near enough to the total places available.

    If you are still interested, I'll let you know how I get on. @Anonymous
