Hi All,

I have created a Canvas App and shared it with all the users. The users are able to open the app in their browswer using the app link.

However, the same users are not able to open the app in the desktop app of power apps. They get the error "Download couldn't finish. Contact your administrator. You don't have permission to download updates" (Screenshot of the error below).

My data source in this app is dataverse tables. Does anyone know how to solve it?

Hi @mayankhb , The issue is not related to PowerApps permission. It is more on the side on operating system permission. Can you confirm whether the affected user has admin right on system? As per my understanding, user does not have admin rights on windows system.

Basically, PowerApps desktop app require some update and because due to some policy set by your organization, it is not getting updated. If the system is managed by your organization IT team then please contact them. Get the PowerApps desktop app updated with latest version and then ask the user to try again.
