My Flows Don't Run After a While

Hi all,

I've been experience an issue with a few Flows that I have designed not launching when the conditions are met. It's not that they fail, it's as if they don't recognize the conditions. If I edit the Flow and, without changing anything, save it, the flow will launch correctly with the exact same conditions.

Has anyone else had issues with your Flows just deciding not to run with no other errors? I'd love to be able to set these up and not have to save them with no changes on a weekly basis to avoid them not working.

Thanks!

    Hello,

The first thing I would recommend to check is your connections. If a connection is broken or needs to be fixed, it can cause issues with Flows. If you go to your Flow Portal, select the Data dropdown on the left side and then open connections, you will get a list of connections. There will be a column for status that will show if something needs fixing or is running into errors. Try checking that and let me know if it helps!

    Thanks,

    Hi Jordan,

Thank you for your response! I checked the connections the first few times this happened, but there was never any error or deactivated connection there (at least none that the system identifies, unlike other times when something has actually changed and I've needed to fix a connection). I don't actually have to fix anything when I save it again, it just seems like there's something magical about it being freshly saved as opposed to the same flow a couple weeks later.

    Hello again,

Would you be able to post a screenshot of the flow in this thread (blocking out any personal information) so I may try to replicate and achieve the same result?

    Thanks,

    Jordan

    Hi Jordan,

Thanks for the continued help! The issue seems to be on all flows, but I have screenshots for the one where I first noticed it and have confirmed it multiple times. Broadly, it checks when a document is uploaded in a specific folder and, based on who has created/modified it last, sends emails to either the first or second approver and finally moves it to the approved folder.Flow part 5Flow part 5Flow part 4Flow part 4Flow part 1Flow part 1Flow part 3Flow part 3Flow part 2Flow part 2
