MS Teams - message to trigger Adaptive Card

Hello everyone,

I created a flow for an adaptive card to collect info from a user and add it as a new row in an excel table. (this part is working just fine)

Now, what i would like to do is create a trigger where a user goes to a MS Teams Chat and type for example:

/task (hit enter)

then show the adaptive card to fill in task details

is there a way to do that? if so any advice or guidance is greatly appreciated!

Best,

Leo

    Hey @annajhaveri,

So i found a trigger for a specific keyword, and connected the adaptive card to it.

Now when i enter the keyword in the chat, it displays the adaptive card BUT its seems to go through in infinite loop and just posted 100 cards in like 10 secs!

I had to disable the flow to stop it.

    Any ideas on that?

Hello @annajhaveri, thank you for your answer.

But it doesn't quite solve my issue, is there a trigger that listens/waits for lets say a certain keyword in a chat (example: newtask) and when a user types that in chat it will display the adaptive card?
