Hello,

I want to connect to copilot studio via api.

Scenario:

I have two chatbots. One handles company's all queries. Another one is HR related queries which built using Copilot studio. I need to connect this HR bot into general bot.

Is it possible to connect a Copilot studio bot using API?

Example:

1. Send user query via api to copilot bot.

2. Retrieve response of copilot via api.

Hi CU09121232-0,

Currently there are no out of the box functionalities to achieve this.

Copilot Studio itself does NOT expose an API that allows you to send messages or retrieve responses programmatically. There is no official Microsoft documentation confirming that you can directly query Copilot Studio via API.

I think the only way possible for now is Use Direct Line API.
Microsoft offers Direct Line API for connecting bots built in the Bot Framework. However, Copilot Studio bots do not natively support Direct Line API yet. If you have access to Azure Bot Service, you can deploy your Copilot bot as an Azure Bot and then use Direct Line API to send/receive messages.

Just for Information:

Microsoft is already working on Agent to Agent communication feature already. This should be rolled out soon for public.

i believe this is the exact feature that is required for the above scenario.
