Microsoft Form to Flow to Planner

Short and Sweet here's where I'm at.

Microsoft Form created - Flow created to pull in that information and creates the Planner Task using the Form Data.

Here's what I'm wondering.  When the flow is triggered to create the Planner Task, can I have that task be created

by the Submitter of the Form?  Reason being, I'd like to have another Flow that can run, so when that task is marked as completed it will email the submitter to let the know their task has been completed.

    Hi @sadlerd,

You could store the MS Form responder email into the task details as below:

    Submitter: Email@domain.com

Then create the other Flow as below:

    1. When a task completed

    2. Get task details

    3. Check if the description contains "Submitter:"

    4. If yes, use split() function extract the email:

    split(outputs('Get_task_details')?['body/description'],'Submitter: ')[1]

    5. Send email to the submitter.

Thank you so much.  This worked exactly as I was hoping for.
