Hi,
We had defined a trigger in one of our Power Automate flow that if a record gets inserted in one of the CDS entity, the flow gets triggered. It was working fine till yesterday.
Later, we encountered an issue with our Power App license where-in the trial license was about to expire and we converted it to Production. During this process, it somehow didn't go well and portal went down for some time. Later, with the help of Microsoft team we were able to restore it. During restoration, the environment was set to Sandbox since restore was not working. Now, that environment is sandbox, the triggers are not working as per the expectation. though it working fine on Production environment, but not on Sandbox environment.
We even tried to create a flow with fresh trigger, still it is not working.
Just wanted to check is this related to sandbox environment? or am I missing anything?
Thank you.
Hi @mark_us , yes, we resolved it back then. We had restored the environment due to which the Admin mode was enabled. Once it was disabled, it worked. Thank you.
Hi Rameshwar,
where you able to fix this?
I stumbled over Tip #1351: Flows not triggering after environment copy | Power Platform & Dynamics CRM Tip Of The Day when having the same issue and indeed - the admin mode was still enabled and caused the flows not to be triggered.
Kind regards
Markus
Thank you @ManishJain for responding.
Yes, I have tried recreating the flow, still no luck. It seems the flow itself is not getting called when an record is inserted in an entity.
My flow starts with a transformation which is "When a new record is created, updated or deleted" - in this case I have defined it as a "create" operation on an entity, later I do certain operations. However, when a record is inserted in an entity the flow is not getting called at all.
I tried even creating a test flow with just Trigger operation and a compose operation, still the flow is not getting called.
Any thoughts?
Thank you.
Hi @Rameshwar ,
Can you please create a new flow with the same conditions and see if it works.
Thanks
