Document Sets don't work for certain "Created file" triggers

Use Case: Approval Workflow for document added to particular folder (or manually if that worked either, which it doesn't appear to)

Currently shown with "For a selected item" as I was testing that option as well, my flow is pictured below. I am trying to build a simple approval workflow for Document Sets that are moved into a specific folder ("Pending Approval") but the triggers for "files created or modified in a folder" do not properly activate. Is this a known issue or am I approaching this problem the wrong way?

Documents Sets do trigger the basic "file created"/"file created or modified" from my testing. I can conceive a workaround for this by using an additional document library but it would fractionate the user experience which I'd like to avoid.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

    Hi @Anonymous,

According to your description, it seems that triggers When a file is created or modified in a folder won’t trigger a flow when working with document sets.

I can reproduce this issue on my side. Per my test, I found that the trigger “When a file is created or modified in a folder” doesn’t work as expected, even though it doesn’t relate to document sets.

I will help report it and back to you later.

    Best regards,

    Mabel Mao
