I want to set alerts if a power Automate desktop machine run queue is stuck for more than 30 minutes. I am looking for any solution including Power automate CLI, and API or any out-of-the-box feature to set the alerts.

I have the same question (0)

You may consider to check work queue items data verse table and check with some frequency on your queue items based on that you can create cloud flow to alert as you asked. Hope it helps!!

In case if you require any further details please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Hey Hi,

Currently, Power Automate Desktop (PAD) does not have a built-in feature to set alerts if a queue is stuck for more than 30 minutes.
You need to create a separate Cloud flow that monitors the queue. This flow can check the status of the queue at regular intervals (e.g., every 5 minutes).

(Note:- if you got your solution you can mark as solution and gives kudos)

    Thanks & Regards

I have built exactly this, i have an hourly process that works through a work queue, and 5 minutes before it is due to run, i run a cloud flow to check for items that have been processing for over 5 minutes, if found, it re-queues them accordingly.

I also use it within parent flows if a PAD fails, it will then run this to requeue them before restarting the PAD flow.
