Creating a sequential approval flow for document sign-off

I’ve been struggling with a Power Automate Flow for days on end and try as I might I can’t get what I thought would be a relatively straightforward flow to work…

I am trying to create a sequential approval flow wherein the following happens:

When a document link is submitted to a SharePoint list, an email is sent to to Approver1 requesting approval.

If the request is rejected the submitter gets an email: if the request is approved the 2nd approver gets an email also.

If the 2nd approver rejects the document the submitter gets an email: if the request is approved, an email is sent to Approver3 requesting final sign-off. Again if they reject it, the submitter gets an email but if it’s approved the requester gets notified accordingly.

Has anybody ever created this kind of approval? Can anyone help? All the examples I can find involve leave requests etc. so I can’t follow anything exactly and Copilot’s help has resulted in me being stuck in endless loops of eternal emails! 😪😫😥

Any help would be massively appreciated!
