Unable to connect to data source

Hi,

I am trying to complete the Power foundations course, which involved completing the following steps:

Connect to a data source

  1. To connect to a data source, use the following procedure:

  2. Download the Contoso file, extract all of the files and save them to your OneDrive for Business.

  3. Go to  https://make.powerapps.com and sign in with your organizational account.

  4. In the left pane, select Create.

  5. Select Other data sources from the Start from data section.

  6. Under Connections choose OneDrive for Business. If you don't have the connection available click New connection to create one.

  7. For Choose an Excel file on the right select the Contoso Site Tracking.xlsx file.

However, after I click on the "Create" button, the popup appears and results in an error:

We weren't to add this connection. Please try again.

An error occurred during authentication.

Hi, I can't find the 'Contoso Site Tracking.xlsx' file anywhere to build the Canvas App. However, I got the .zip (Contoso File) file but it only contains picture in it. Where can I get it?

Re: Unable to connect to data source

Please make sure you have access to One drive and that can save the files in it . Later check if the Contoso Site Tracking.xlsx file is available in one drive . If the file is not available try to open Contoso Site Tracking.xlsx , save it again with a different name  in One drive . Check if you can see the renamed file in the list to select and try creating the connection again. It should not throw the error .

If still see the same issue then please share me the link/document which you are following to download the Contoso file and extract it . Let me try to reproduce the issue at my end to resolve it for you .
