Automate Flow doesn't run for other users

Hi there,
An app I have written sends a file to the SharePoint Document folder which should trigger the Flow 'When a file is created or modified (properties only). However, the flow only runs for me as the owner when I manually create or modify a file in the SharePoint Document folder.
The Modified By user column is 'SharePoint App' when the flow runs from the app. The flow doesn't run successfully i.e. it isn't pulling back data from the SharePoint connector.
When I manually run the flow, the Modified By User column is <myname> and runs successfully.

It seems like the flow only runs when I (as the owner of the SharePoint Connector) manually run it. So, how can I give the 'SharePoint App' user read permission to my flow?

Are you saying that the Flow does not execute unless you manually upload or create a file or are you saying that if it runs when the app creates a file but does nor run as expected? Does the Flow run and generate an error? If so, what error?
