How does PA handle Daylight Savings Time?

Hi,

I was wondering how Power Automate handles Daylight Savings Time. If I select a time zone from, for example, a Convert Time Zone step from UTC to (UTC-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada), I can peek at the code and see that the time zone for the latter is Central Standard Time. Currently in the US it is is DST, so how does this code change once it is no longer DST? Would it change to a UTC-5:00 zone? Thanks.

    Hi @IAQG ,

At my knowledge, PA will handle daylight saving time automatically and I don't believe that the code value will change.

Actually , the 'convert time zone' action is a visual function convertTimeZone.

    For your information:

    Best Regards,

So if I were to pull from an Excel sheet to enter "Central Standard Time", as it is currently DST in the US, it automatically gets adjusted to DST? And once DST is over the adjustment would no longer happen without me needing to change any steps?

    Hi,

Today I tested using a form and trying to save submission date but DST is not adjusted automatically.
