Create a daily summary of tasks by Assigned To

Hello, I know this question (or some variation of it) has ben posted before... But the solutions are over a year old and after trying to do them I run into the same problems.

My request is simple: I just want to create a daily summary of the active tasks in a planner, group them by the person they're assigned to, and then send an email with the resulting table.

It's basically the same as the template for grouping them by Bucket, but for some reason each and every time I want to call the "value assignments assigned to user ID" it just leads me into an endless loop of several "For Eeach".

Can anybody help me? I'm tired and honestly frustrated with the platform.

@EZuniga Can you explain the need for sending an email with a table? There's already a view that allows you to group tasks by Assigned To.

I feel like sending an email with a table might be a bit redundant... but I also might be missing something.

    Hope this helps!

Hi! Thanks for your response 🙂

I'm aware of the view already included in the planner itself, but I was looking into the mail solution to use it as a daily summary/reminder of the current status of tasks for everyone, as well as being able to share that summary with people up the chain of command who aren't necessarily part of all the different planner boards.

This would be extremely useful to us as it would let us skip the daily meeting to review everyone's progress and share it with the higher-ups directly.
