Pricing Plan for Cloud Flow

Hi, I'm confused regarding the licensing for Power Automate.

I tried using the free version for 2 cloud flows:

1) send email notification when a new file is created in OneDrive

2) auto populate an excel file when a response to Microsoft Forms is submitted

For Flow 1, I failed to receive email even the flow is triggered. I can only receive the email wehn i manually test the flow.

For Flow 2, I couldn't even sign in to get my Microsoft Forms.

My guess is the licensing problem. I'm a Microsoft 365 Family user. Is the Per-User Plan enough for my needs?

    1. It should work in your plan to do this.

Are you using Send an Email (V2) (Outlook) or Send an email notification (V3) (SendGrid)?

I highly recommend you use only Send an Email (V2) (Outlook) unless you really have a reason you want to use the other one.

Also check if the file is being created in the folder and location matching that specified in the OneDrive Trigger in Power Automate. Moreover, check if the Flow is not turned off, but that it is turned on.

    2. I'd like you to double check this with Microsoft, but I believe Microsoft Forms is not included on your plan of Microsoft 365 Family .

You may need an Enterprise Office 365 plan like at least E3 to use Forms.

If that's too expensive of a plan, I believe Microsoft Forms might also be included in the lowest priced Business plan, the Microsoft 365 Business Basic Plan

I believe the Home plans like Microsoft 365 Family might not include Forms, but only include these:

    Thank you for your reply.

For 1), the flow status is on.

I'm using Send Email (V3) SMTP because I was having problem signing in to my Outlook account.

The error message was "Test connection failed... Only work or school accounts are supported..."

When I manually test the flow with SMTP (V3), the flow is triggered and I managed to receive the email so I don't think there is a problem with the folder location in OneDrive.

However when my flow is not set to "manual test mode", my flow would not get triggered.

My guess is there's a licensing issue.
