After running my process, if there is an issue or if the flow stops running, can I receive an email notification?
I have the same question (0)

Add an On Block error to handle errors

So wrap the block around your actions.
Create subflow that does the error handling so atleast the send email action.

Then add a rule in the On block error that starts a subflow when error happens in the error block:

Then when ever error happens it should send an email before the flow stops on "Throw error".

Thank you for your reply. You explained it in a very simple and easy-to-understand way.

    I have one more question.

I wrapped the block around my actions, and now whenever there is an error, I receive an email. But how can I know which specific action caused the error?

Is there any way to include that information in the email, so I can identify exactly where the error happened?

    Glad to hear!

You can use Get last error -action which stores the error that happened last into the LastError -variable.

Example of the value in LastError -variable:

You can select the different parameters to show in the message like action name, index of the action, Error message etc.

So the message might look something like this:

Sometimes the details of the error might be such that email spam/security filters might think of them as spam or security risks (like attacking scripts) and there for the message never comes through. So if you want to be sure that the email comes through then do not include Message since the error message might be something Outlook flags as spam and does not let it go through. So just have it simply tell you what action failed and where it failed (aciton index and the subflow)

This issue happened to me couple of years ago where I didn't get error messages even in my junk mailbox. So could be that some updates have made this is none issue anymore.

Thank you so much for your help!

Yes, you're absolutely right. I’m also facing an issue with the error message, and I’m not sure why, but it’s showing div[Id="app"] > div > div >. At the end, it says, "given correct data 「Text=”モニタリング”」not found." モニタリング means "monitoring," and the webpage is in Japanese. The error was related to the monitoring part.

Despite this, I am able to get all the data I need. I really appreciate your assistance—thank you once again!

    Happy to help!

So the error says the element selector 'div[Id="app"] > div > div > div > div > div > div > div > a[Text="モニタリング"]' which means that that element is not in the website as you captured it.

So maybe there isn't any anchor element that has "monitoring" text in Japanese in it.

Go to the 9th -action which is the "Click link on web page" and edit that action. Press the pencil icon in the UI element:

Then the Selector of that UI element should open like so:

Yours will look different (it should have 'div[Id="app"] > div > div > div > div > div > div > div > a[Text="モニタリング"]' in the bottom Preview Selector part). That is the element selector for the "monitoring" anchor link element that you are trying to click. Try modify the element so that it will find the "Monitoring" link in different instances.
Try using the Test button when the "Monitoring" link is visible on your screen. That might help you find out what part of the element its not finding.
