Calling other desktop flows...

Hi All,

Ive done lots of flows where other flows are called but mainly when 1 finishes, end this one / start another, then end this etc.

My scenario is...

Lets call this " The Master Flow " which contains ;

Run desktop flow 1 at end go to Master Flow which runs 2

Run desktop flow 2 at end go to Master Flow which runs 3

Run desktop flow 3 at end go to Master Flow which runs 4

Run desktop flow 4 at end go to Master Flow which runs 5

Run desktop flow 5 at end go to Master Flow which ends.

Any advice... 😁

If the Master Flow is a Cloud Flow rather than a Desktop Flow this is very easy to do.

In time perhaps but at the moment they are all desktop flows.
Ive just realised the master pauses until the called flow is finished, runs 1, ends, back to master, runs 2 etc.
Previously when I called another flow the original ended then started 2 etc.
Ive never kept the original open before so on uncommon ground.

Are you still having an issue. This is how I believe Run Flow is intended to work.

No, no issues as I havnt built it yet 😂
Just reaching out.
So in the called flows, 1 2 3 etc, I just end those flows as normal, it automatically goes back to the master, which is paused, then master starts 2 and so on.
Is my logic correct ?

That's how I understand it. I haven't actually done it 🙂

Blind leading the blind eh 😂
As I said, ive never kept the initial flow open, just call another and another etc.
Maybe I overthunk it 🙄
