I am relatively new to PA so I hope you guys can help.
I have created a flow that
1- takes SharePoint List data, copies to a Excel on Line (OneDrive).  This is the pricing engine.
2- It then takes a different Excel File (The Template) and Clears out old data from previous flow, (I do this because I don't see where I can create a new file from a template using a Composed name and then use the Add rows to populate it.
4- It copies data from the Price Engine and Adds (Rows) to the table in the template file.
5- I then try to use "Get File Content" (One Drive)  and then create a new file with a unique name.

My problem is that when look at the Uniquely Name file, it is not complete.  The original template file is complete, the copy is not.
I tried adding a delay of 30-60 seconds but it did not help.
Below I show the completed Template and the copied version., also my workflow is below.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

Stan G.

    Hi,

Let me start by saying, that you can easily create a Template. Place it in SharePoint, or OnDrive and then use the Create File combined with Get File Content,
to create a copy of that document anywhere you have access.

    1. Create a manual flow
    2. Copy your template somewhere
    3. Use Get File Content from OneDrive or SharePoint (depending on #2)
    4. Create whatever name you want, either from the template + something else, in a compose action
    5. Use the Create File for OneDrive or SharePoint, with the name from #4, and the content from #3
If your template has a sheet and table already defined great, if not
    6. Use the Create Table on your new file
    7. Now do your other stuff
    8. Now do add rows

    And done..

Note, if this is just a copy, have you tried just using the Copy File Action instead for either SharePoint or OneDrive?

It doesn't seem like you are doing anything but making a copy???

Thank you Mike for your quick response.
I've got down the steps in using [Get file contents] and creating the file.
My problem is that the template is being copied BEFORE all the contents have been populated, so my copy is incomplete.

And I did look at copy file, which worked great.  But the real problem is that PA wants a static file defined when using "Update Table" in excel.  This is due to a formatting issue, The quote has several cells where I don't want to "Add" a row, just put data into the cells.  But if you define the file with a dynamic name, PA is not happy.
