Using 'When a new email arrives' trigger across different company domains in Power Automate

Scenario Overview :

I work with two companies, Company A and Company B. I am exploring the possibility of automating email processes using Power Automate within Company A’s domain/environment.

Trigger:
I intend to utilize the "When a new email arrives" trigger in Power Automate to initiate workflows based on incoming emails.

Issue:

Can I configure this trigger to monitor emails from Company B's mailbox while setting up the flow within Company A’s domain/environment?

I’ve searched online for information regarding this setup but haven't found specific guidance or examples for integrating email triggers across different company domains using Power Automate. I would really appreciate insights from the community or experts who have experience with similar scenarios. Specifically:

  • Is it feasible to use the "When a new email arrives" trigger to monitor emails from a different company's mailbox?
  • Are there any specific configurations or considerations I should be aware of to achieve this?
  • If there are any known limitations, security policies, or technical requirements that might affect this setup, please advise.
