Workflow status visible in SharePoint Library

I am a newbie to SharePoint Online and Power Automate seeking your guidance.
I have a document control library with several subsites using Power Automate for the document approvals. Is it possible for users to see the workflow status in the SharePoint library? I cannot figure out how, especially considering the workflow settings within the "library settings" is stated nothing exists.

Ah, ok - got you now.  First off Workflow (old school) and Flow (new school but formally known as PowerAutomate) are two different things.  Don't go sending your colleagues to workflow to check the status of their flow but you have to learn somehow and you're in the right place 🙂

There is a column you can add to your doc lib called Sign Off Status for sign offs OR

but if you are using approvals ... then you can hopefully check at the flow.microsoft.com site (for sent or received) or via the Approvals app in Teams.

I apologize if I'm not asking the question correctly or using the right jargon. The screenshot above is what's within the "Workflow settings" section within Library settings such as below.a2white_0-1614286785559.png

Upon clicking the Power Automate then see my flows takes me to the Power Automate program.

A regular user with contribute permission, will they be able to see the status of their document being approved? For instance; Person A has approved but Person B is still pending.

If so, how? I cannot seem to figure this part out.

    Hi @a2white

I might be wrong but you're using classic features of SharePoint online.  The screenshot you have shared looks like Workflows 2013.  PowerAutomate flows are built and managed via http://flow.microsoft.com albeit you can access flows from a doc lib as follows:

But you would expect to see

Approvals can be managed from the flow link above (image below) or via the Teams Approvals App.

    Thanks

    Hi Damien,

Good to know about that screen. The approval workflow is built using PowerAutomate. I need to determine how users can see the status without having to go into PowerAutomate. Is this possible?

Also; how do I as the creator of the workflow in Power Automate see approvals still pending and etc? Where is status of a running workflow?

    Hi @a2white ,

The screen you have shared is from Workflows and not Flow/PowerAutomate.  Workflow is still available but will retire in due course.

Please consider using PowerAutomate and take a quick read here https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/office/sharepoint-2010-workflow-retirement-1ca3fff8-9985-410a-85aa-8120f626965f

    Cheers,
