Refresh and ClearCollect functions not working on SPO List

Hi,

Please, help.

I have a SharePoint List with more than 5K items and I'm using it on a custom PowerApps form in a Doc Library. This form has a cascading drop-down menu based on 3 columns. Basically, a user uploads a document and choose Company, then a Contact Person and a TextBox displays his email. These values are used in a Power Automate workflow.

What is the issue?

If I add a new item to the SharePoint List, the item is not displayed in the custom PowerApp form in the Doc Library.

However, if I edit an existing one, I can see the changes in the custom PowerApp form in the Doc Library.

I tried to force a data refresh using ClearCollect and Refresh functions and it is not working. How can I fix it?

Thanks in advanced.

    @efebo ,

    An item cannot be displayed until the new form is submitted (I assume you have done this). Also ClearCollect is a collection - what are you using this for? If Refresh(YourListName) after submitting the form does not work, I think the issue is lies in the nature of SharePoint Integrated Forms - their data is designed to be current at the point they were opened (normally you are simply adding or editing a record and then exiting the form with RequestHide(). As you have noted, coming back in to edit displays the current information.

    All of this would however work as expected on a standalone app.

    Please click Accept as solution if my post helped you solve your issue. This will help others find it more readily. It also closes the item. If the content was useful in other ways, please consider giving it Thumbs Up.
