Power Automate Flow for Archiving SharePoint Files (Performance Issues)

I’ve built a Power Automate flow to archive SharePoint files that are older than 18 months from one document library to another while maintaining the folder structure. This is my first time using Power Automate and coding, so my setup might not be the most efficient.

The SharePoint library contains around 1 million files. The flow works perfectly in testing, but I’ve encountered issues when running it at scale:

  • If pagination is turned off, the Get Files action returns an empty result.
  • When pagination is turned on, the Get Files action retrieves data correctly but takes an extremely long time to execute.

Has anyone experienced this before? Are there any best practices to improve performance when handling large datasets in Power Automate? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
