creating a flow from a form that will create SharePoint folders and give them Permissions based on form answers.

Hi, 

 

I have got so far with this and just want to know if what i am trying to achieve is at all possible.

 

I have created a flow from a form that when users submit will create a folder structure in SharePoint for example Parent folder/child folder.

 

I now what to include in the flow that the child folders get given  folder permissions depending on the answer given on the form.

 

I am new to power automate and not sure if this is possible. I have messed around with breaking inheritance and then reapplying permissions but i cant seem to get it to work.

    You can use the following actions to achieve what you want:

    1. Create new folder — to create your folder structure.
    2. Stop sharing an item or file — this will remove everyone's permissions except people with owner permissions, which cannot be removed. This will then break inheritance on the folder.
    3. Grant access to an item or a folder — to grant access to the people who should have access. You can either grant edit or read permissions.
