'Link to item' suddenly behaves as 'mailto' in approval flow?

Hi everyone,

I've had a flow running smoothly for about two years now. However, since two or three days ago, an issue has suddenly appeared. I haven't made any changes to the flow, and it has never caused any problems before.

In my flow, there's an action "Create a folder - SharePoint", and I use the dynamic content "Link to item" (which refers to the "Create a folder" action) in the "Item link" field of the "Start and wait for an approval" action.

The issue: when the recipient clicks the link, Outlook opens as if it's a mailto-link instead of directing them to the SharePoint folder.

This is affecting multiple flows (like 60 flows), and I need a fix as soon as possible. Does anyone know what happened and how I can resolve this quickly?

Thanks in advance,

Femke

    Hi,

Please open a ticket with support. I've seen several people who had a similar issue, in the exact same way.

But I haven't seen a workaround etc that is clear.

I would opena ticket ASAP to help force Microsoft to resolve it.  That or you can probably roll back your environment and fix it that way.

Hi, we have noticed this kind of strange behavior also. Our "Link to item" is usually referring to an item in a SharePoint list.
