Find Uses of an action? Potential Improvement

Is it possible to find all uses of a action?  If not, that would be a useful enhancement to simply click on the options for an action and select "Find all uses" to then pull up a dialogue box that shows what future actions use the current actions.

Would be a great help when flow improvements are made after implementation, or if even during the initial build for more complex flows when a portion of the flow needs to be scrapped and started over with different actions (or updated actions).

@ToddCaywood There is so such thing what you are looking for but you can search each action in google/youtube and you would find plenty of information.

@jinivthakkar I may have miscommunicated.  By "Find Uses" I mean where an action's output is referenced in a future action in the same flow.

@ToddCaywood it is a good practice to add a comment to each action which helps you identity output from which step has been referred at that particular step highlighted in yellow. This has to be done manually.

Also you can also check the value by double clicking which would open the dynamic content which shows details and also action names highlighted in yellow.

Adding comment is a good practice which has to be done manually. All action support add comment.

Yes, I do those things currently.  My issue comes into play when I have a large flow with many actions.  To see where they reference, I have to go into each action individually.  I would love a single button to press to view all of the actions that use the action in question.

Not really a question or issue, just an enhancement idea.  But thanks for confirming it doesn't exist, currently! 🙂

@ToddCaywood I understand what you mean for example: If you have ever worked with Visual Studio, when you update some variable or object it suggests you if you want to change all references with just one click something like that.

I think its a good idea and you can submit your idea here :

Exactly!  Thanks for the link, I wasn't sure if there was an ideas portal/funnel or not.
