If you or your organization maintains a firewall Allow/Block List, a configuration change may be required to ensure continuity of operations.

We’re making some updates to our backend to improve availability and reliability of canvas app authoring sessions. This change will not result in any downtime or experience impact but will result in traffic routing to a new sub-domain.

Recommended Change

Allow traffic to *.powerapps.com. If your firewall rules are already configured to allow traffic to this top-level domain, no change is required.

If more restrictive firewall rules are in place to filter sub-domains, you will need to allow access to *gateway.prod.island.powerapps.com. A full set of domains required to enable Power Apps authoring and runtime can be found here.

Please ensure your firewall configurations are updated by Monday, February 14th.
