Workaround to run Power Automate Destkop flow with for example Windows Task Scheduler without Premium

Hi there, I know this was asked already but I think the thread is dead and came to no solution. But I'm convinced that there is any kind of solution for this. I want to schedule to run / or trigger a Power Automate Desktop flow without using PA cloud or a premium account. Is there any solution to this?

I have the same question (0)

You can now run flows via command line, and you run command line via windows scheduler.

Sorry, I don't have any links, but I have seen both of those things possible.

    Good luck!

    Hi @Fuji98

To schedule a Desktop flow via the Windows Task Scheduler requires a premium license.

I have tried this and it did not work without a premium license.

This has also been confirmed by a MSFT person on this forum.

It is their license plan to buy a license to schedule a desktop flow.

However I have seen some posts but I do not know if it works as expected or what does it make use of but here they are for your perusal.

@VJR @MichaelAnnis Thank you both I've searched for solutions but it always seems like I have to open the flow first manually, right?

    Yes and no.

Yes if you are only using Power Automate and don't have Premium

No if you can run another script with another program to do this for you. For example: Robot Framework with Python, which is free and open source. As i said before in the other post. You want to then run this script (Robot Framework) when the computer boots up...
